Common questions
Which files can I import?
A CSV or TSV file with the column names in the first row, up to 5 MB and 5,000 rows. Qyveno recognizes the separator by itself. If you have an Excel file, save it as CSV first.
What if my columns are named or built differently?
For each column in your file you choose where it goes. One column becomes the name of the item. You can also have a new column created or skip a column. Before the import you see, per column, what does not fit, such as a date that cannot be read. Those cells stay empty.
Do automations and formulas take part?
Formulas calculate as usual. Automations that fire when an item is created do not run during an import, so no notifications go out for hundreds of items at once.
Can I go back to Excel?
Yes. You can export every board to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, with the items the view shows. Whether you may export depends on your role.
